Beijing Municipal Institute of Labor Protection
was founded in 1955. Noise and vibration control
is one of its major fields. Over the past fifty
years, it has armed with rich experience in scientific
search and engineering practice, gets plenty of
scientific and technological achievements (some
of them was awarded first place, second place,
and third place awards of technological advancement
bestowed by either the ministry or departments)
and developed various related products. Of its
projects, low noise cooling tower in 1980¨s, noise
control project for Beijing Sanyimiao Crossover
in 1995, and heavy load damp spring vibration
isolator in 2000 were awarded the second place
prize of scientific advancement by the State Economic
and Trade Commission. Experts of the institute
published a number of books on noise and vibration
and implemented more than twenty national standards.
